A Growing Community Group is Helping Women Connect, Build Friendships and Enjoy Regular Social Events.
A thriving community group in Lichfield is continuing to bring women together, offering a welcoming space to connect, socialise and build new friendships.
Lichfield Ladies was founded two years ago by Elaine Hitchings BEM with the aim of supporting women across the district and helping to reduce isolation and loneliness. Since then, the group has grown rapidly, with its Facebook community now reaching more than 2,500 members.
The group meets on the first Thursday of every month from 6.30pm at The Bowling Green on Friary Road in Lichfield, creating a relaxed and friendly environment where there is no pressure — just the opportunity to enjoy good company.
There is no joining fee, with organisers keen to keep the group accessible and stress-free, allowing members to simply come along, have a great time and meet new people.
This month’s meeting promises to be extra special, with guest appearance from comedian Jules O’Brian, offering an evening of entertainment and laughter.
The group is built around a strong sense of community, with a focus on women supporting women and sharing experiences in a positive and uplifting way.
For those who may feel nervous about attending alone, a dedicated meet-and-greet is available at the door, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and welcomed from the moment they arrive.
Alongside monthly meet-ups, the group also organises walking groups, events and shares useful information for members through its Facebook page.
