The event marks another step forward for Vocalise.

Some of the biggest names in British dance music will descend on Staffordshire this Halloween as boutique house and disco brand Vocalise transforms The Great Barn at Alrewas Hayes into its most ambitious and immersive event to date.
Taking place on Saturday 31 October, Vocalise Halloween will bring together three hugely respected and influential UK DJs – Slipmatt, Jeremy Healy and Grant Nelson – for a one-night-only celebration of house and disco.
The event will see Vocalise take over The Great Barn at Alrewas Hayes, a new space for the event brand within the spectacular 100-acre Staffordshire country estate. The Great Barn is the estate’s largest event space and will provide the backdrop for an immersive Halloween transformation featuring 360° visuals, themed performers, bespoke production and décor, and an incredible sound system.

Headlining the night is Slipmatt, one of the best-known names from the UK’s old-skool dance scene. From his success as part of SL2 to appearances at some of the country’s most iconic events, including Fantazia, Slipmatt has spent more than three decades filling dancefloors across the UK and beyond.
He will be joined by Jeremy Healy, one of Britain’s most influential DJs, whose career has taken him from Haysi Fantayzee to the forefront of UK club culture and some of the world’s most celebrated dancefloors.
Completing the headline line-up is house music pioneer Grant Nelson, the acclaimed producer, remixer and founder of Swing City Records, renowned for a distinctive sound rooted in soulful and uplifting house music.
Vocalise residents Chris Walton, a former Miss Moneypenny’s resident, and Lee Duffy complete the line-up.
The event marks another step forward for Vocalise as the Staffordshire-based brand expands beyond traditional club nights to create more immersive and experiential events.

Sophie Walton, co-founder of Vocalise, said that “Vocalise has always been about much more than simply putting DJs in a room”.
We want people to walk into one of our events and immediately feel that they’re somewhere special – from the venue and production to the music, atmosphere and, most importantly, the people around them.
Alrewas Hayes is an incredible setting and we’ve held events there previously, but this will be the first time we’ve taken Vocalise into The Great Barn. It gives us the opportunity to do something on a completely different scale and really push the experiential side of what we’re creating.
We’re bringing together three DJs who have played hugely influential roles in British dance music, but we also want the whole evening to feel like an experience. The 360° visuals, performers, production and Halloween theming will transform the venue from the moment people arrive.
We’re also incredibly proud of the crowd Vocalise has built. They’re a friendly, fun-loving group of genuine music lovers who want to dress up, dance, meet people and have a brilliant night out. That atmosphere is a huge part of what makes our events what they are.
Vocalise has developed a loyal following for its house and disco-only music policy, boutique venues and welcoming atmosphere, attracting a predominantly mature crowd of dance music lovers from Staffordshire, the wider Midlands and beyond.
For Halloween, guests are being encouraged to embrace the event’s “Dead Chic” dress code, with fancy dress encouraged but not essential.
The setting itself adds another dimension to the event. Located within 100 acres of Staffordshire countryside, Alrewas Hayes combines the character of a historic country estate with contemporary event spaces.
Vocalise Halloween Ft. Slipmatt // Jeremy Healy // Grant Nelson takes place at The Great Barn, Alrewas Hayes, Burton-on-Trent, on Saturday 31 October 2026, from 6pm until 12.30am.
The event is strictly for over-21s and is ticket-only.
