Had enough of the dreary weather? Thankfully, the Lichfield Garrick has plenty happening under its roof this spring, with a vibrant new season packed full of comedy, musicals, drama and family favourites.
From the UK professional debut of the rebellious musical Disenchanted!, to the wry genius of Ivo Graham, and even a reimagined Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), there’s something for every taste in the Garrick’s freshest season of live entertainment.
A Fairytale with a Twist
Making its Midlands professional debut, Disenchanted! arrives at the Garrick from 29th April. This vaudeville-style musical smashes fairytale stereotypes, replacing traditional princesses with a rebellious troupe of women demanding independence.

With occasional strong language, the show is rated 14+ (parental discretion advised) and promises a Happily Ever After like you’ve never seen before.
Musical Classics
There’s plenty to sing along to this season too.
- Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story hits the Main Auditorium from 2nd March, celebrating the life of a true rock ’n’ roll pioneer.
- Willy Russell’s legendary Blood Brothers returns on 19th May, asking powerful questions about fate, class and choice.
Director’s Picks: Intimate, Bold and Different
For something fresh and affordable, the Garrick’s Director’s Picks offer powerful storytelling in the Studio space.
