Lichfield-Based Business Recognised Nationally for Sustainability-Led Success
Grace Cares has been selected as part of the prestigious Green Growth 100, an initiative launched by Small Business Britain in partnership with BT to spotlight small businesses successfully using sustainability as a driver of growth.
The Green Growth 100 champions one hundred small businesses across the UK that are embedding sustainable practices into their operations, from reducing waste and energy use to rethinking supply chains, attracting new customers and strengthening long-term resilience.
A Circular Model with Community Impact
Founded in 2023 by Hannah Montgomery, Emma Smith and Adam Harrison, Grace Cares has placed sustainability at the heart of its mission. The organisation operates a circular reuse model, collecting, redistributing and reselling quality pre-loved care equipment that might otherwise go to landfill. By extending the life of essential care items, the organisation not only reduces environmental waste but also makes care more affordable and accessible for families.
Alongside its environmental focus, Grace Cares reinvests into community initiatives such as Care Club, supporting unpaid carers through education, connection and practical guidance, demonstrating how sustainable business can deliver social impact alongside commercial growth.

Grace Cares is committed to a zero-to-landfill policy. We aim to sell, donate and recycle 100% of our pre-loved care equipment and are proud of our circular economy partnerships. The initiative follows the work of The Willow Review, an independent, Government-backed review into the financial benefits of sustainability, co-chaired by Small Business Britain with BT serving on the steering board. The Willow Review published its landmark recommendations last summer, outlining a roadmap to unlock the vast financial opportunities of sustainability for Britain’s 5.6 million small businesses.

Looking Ahead
As a featured business in the Green Growth 100, Grace Cares will also be in the running for the Green Growth Awards, hosted by BT on 12th March 2026. Two standout businesses will each receive a £5,000 grant to help scale their sustainability ambitions and continue driving positive change.
