A Lichfield networking group dedicated to empowering and connecting women business owners has celebrated its second birthday with a special event on Thursday 18 September.
Small Business Vibes was launched in September 2023 by co-founders Claire Baker and Colette Bratton to create a supportive space for local female entrepreneurs. Since then, it has grown into a thriving community of women who come together to share ideas, opportunities and encouragement.
The group meets at The Dog Inn, Whittington every third Thursday morning of the month and welcomes any woman running her own business, whether full time, part time or just starting out on their entrepreneurial journey.
Members enjoy the fun, friendly and fast paced format, which includes time to get to know each other, a promo table for products and literature, and plenty of opportunity to talk about their businesses. The focus is on genuine connections, collaboration and enjoying the process.
We have loved seeing Small Business Vibes grow over the last two years, but we have especially enjoyed seeing how the women attending have grown in confidence by being in an environment where they can share ideas, ask questions and form lasting connections. – Claire Baker
