Volunteering remains one of the most effective ways for people to support their communities.
Volunteers from across the district recently came together for a special event hosted by Support Staffordshire at Burntwood Memorial Community Association, celebrating the invaluable contribution volunteers make to local communities.
The event brought together volunteers, community groups and voluntary sector organisations for an afternoon of networking, recognition and shared learning. Attendees had the opportunity to exchange ideas, discover new opportunities for collaboration and learn more about the wide range of projects making a positive difference across Staffordshire.

The event also provided an opportunity to thank volunteers for their dedication, commitment and countless hours of service throughout the year.
Representatives from community organisations showcased their work, offering information about current projects and future volunteering opportunities. The gathering encouraged new connections between groups and reinforced the importance of partnership working within the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.
