The extraordinary Lichfield Tuneless Choir brought sparkle, laughter and sheer joy to the stage at the Lichfield Festival of Music on Saturday 15 November.
Their performance was so infectious that even the adjudicator wanted to know how to sign up.
Far from the traditional choral competition atmosphere, the Tuneless Choir delivered something refreshingly different. Singing in French, they delighted the audience with their playful energy before launching into their much‑loved anthem, Flowers.
What makes the Tuneless Choir stand out is not technical perfection, but the fun, camaraderie and sass that radiates from every member. They sing purely for the joy of it, proving that music is about connection, not competition.
The performance was met with smiles, laughter and plenty of applause, reminding everyone that singing is for everyone, not just those who can hold a tune.
