Lichfield Tuneless Choir Joins a Special Service to Celebrate a Community Artwork on Display throughout June.
Lichfield Tuneless choir were honoured to perform at Lichfield Cathedral last Thursday as part of a celebration blessing for the Common Threads Table Runner, which is on display throughout June.
The choir performed What A Wonderful World, Something Inside So Strong, With A Little Help From My Friends and Happy Together, with more than 300 members of the congregation joining in to mark the occasion.
Many members of the choir contributed squares to the runner itself, with some even seen by King Charles during his recent visit to Lichfield.
Lichfield Tuneless is made up of people who have been told they are not good enough to sing in a choir, making the invitation to perform in the cathedral an especially meaningful and memorable experience.
The group offers a welcoming and relaxed environment for anyone who enjoys singing, regardless of experience.
