The celebration transformed the Scotch Orchard care home into a world inspired by beloved Disney classics, with decorations, costumes and entertainment creating a joyful atmosphere for residents and guests alike.
Staff members embraced the theme wholeheartedly, dressing as famous Disney characters and helping residents relive treasured memories through music, storytelling and themed activities.
The event, titled “A Stowe New World”, was opened by Scotch Orchard School children singing Disney theme songs, followed by live music from the Blue and Cools Brothers. Activities included food, craft stalls, a cake stall, a tombola and raffle to raise funds for Scotch Orchard School. Knightley Alpaca Trekking also provided two cute alpacas, Carlos and Teddy who were happy to pose for photographs.
