Stowe Mount Care Home in Lichfield, operated by Crystal Care Collection, has launched a new monthly event designed to strengthen connections between residents and the local community.
The initiative, called ‘Cuppa with a Copper’, takes place at the care home on the first Wednesday of each month. During the event, local police officers visit to share a hot drink and take part in open conversations about issues that matter to residents and the wider community.
Roy Wilson, 88, Resident Ambassador at Stowe Mount, said:

The event forms part of the wider Community Tree initiative across Crystal Care Collection. Through this programme, care homes actively collaborate with local groups, schools and organisations to ensure residents remain connected to the communities they know and love.

The first event took place on 4th February. Future ‘Cuppa with a Copper’ sessions will continue on the first Wednesday of every month from 10:30am at:
