A New Monthly Market will bring Antiques, Collectables and Vintage Finds to Market Square this Spring.
A new antiques and vintage market is set to launch in Lichfield city centre this April, bringing a mix of unique traders and classic finds to Market Square.
Organised by local antiques dealer Tim Griffin, the event will take place on Sunday 12th April and Sunday 10th May, with plans to grow into a regular monthly market in partnership with Lichfield City Council.
The free-to-attend market will run from 10am to 3pm in Market Square, next to St Mary’s, with the town crier officially opening the event at 10am.
Visitors can expect traders offering a wide selection of items, including antiques, collectables, vintage pieces, toys and automobilia — making it a great opportunity to browse, discover and enjoy something a little different in the heart of the city.
Tim, who has been running his antiques business since 2018, has previously appeared on television alongside Henry Cole on Find It, Fix It, Flog It in 2021. He is now working with the council to help establish regular markets that add to Lichfield’s vibrant local offer.
The new market is designed to be welcoming and accessible for both visitors and traders, with organisers keen to grow the event over the coming months.
