Kaleidoscope Choir celebrates another donation to St Giles Hospice

The audience enjoyed a great variety of music as well as tea, coffee and home-made cakes!

Kaleidoscope Choir is a community, female voice choir led by Musical Director Rupert Feld. They sing popular and classical songs arranged for female voices as well as original works composed by Rupert. Their name reflects the ethos of the choir in that they include a wide variety of musical styles and encourage singers of all ages, backgrounds and level of experience to join them.

The choir performs a number of concerts throughout the year in support of local charities and good causes, and most recently performed on 9 September 2026 at St Giles Church, Whittington, for the benefit of St Giles Hospice.

The audience enjoyed a great variety of music as well as tea, coffee and home-made cakes! The choir is delighted to announce that the total profit from the concert was £845, all of which will be donated to the hospice.

Kaleidoscope has now begun preparations during their weekly evening rehearsals in Whittington for their popular Christmas concert, to be held on Saturday 12 December from 7.30pm at Thomas Spencer Hall, Whittington. This too will be for the benefit of the hospice.

You are most welcome to join them at this concert, or to make enquiries about other performances and becoming a member.

As the choir itself says, “when you join a choir you get joy from singing and entertaining, discipline from learning your parts and become part of a caring, warm and generous community”.

Tickets for the Christmas concert will be available soon on the website: www.kaleidoscopechoir.co.uk
