A Lichfield charity is inviting the community to put the kettle on and help tackle loneliness this spring through a special partnership with one of Britain’s best-known cutlery makers.
Not-for-profit organisation Grace Cares has partnered with Arthur Price to launch a charity raffle in celebration of National Tea Party Day.
The partnership will see a beautiful Arthur Price Everyday Classic 44 Piece Boxed Set – a stainless steel cutlery set designed for six place settings and worth £279 – raffled to raise funds for Grace Cares’ hardship grants and community programmes supporting older people and unpaid caregivers.
Raffle tickets cost £10 each, with all proceeds helping Grace Cares continue its mission to make care sustainable – socially, environmentally and financially.
The winning ticket will be drawn on National Tea Party Day on 21st April, celebrating the simple but powerful act of sharing food, conversation and connection.
Tackling Loneliness Through Community
Loneliness remains one of the biggest challenges facing older people in the UK.
According to Age UK, around 1.4 million older people say they often feel lonely, while data from the Office for National Statistics highlights the serious impact chronic loneliness can have on wellbeing and health.
Yet something as simple as a cup of tea and a conversation can make a meaningful difference.
