‘Sowing and Growing’ is about all things gardening. We will be sowing seeds, sharing knowledge, growing plants and growing a supportive gardening community, which you are warmly invited to join. Each episode will be jam packed with exciting features! We’ll celebrate the ‘Rod Stewplant’ – the plant that’s strutting centre stage in the border, look at jobs for the week and support wildlife gardening in ‘A Walk on the Wildlife Side.’ Sometimes I’ll be joined by special guests who could take part in the quick fire garden quiz ‘Oh Fork!’ A good performance brings the prize of a gardening joke! We’ll be building up the ‘Sowing and Growing’ compost heap which likes to be piled high with good deeds and positive stories related to gardening. And we will play lots of great music where the title, artist or lyrics make a link to gardening. Finally, I will leave you with a positive quote about gardening to reflect upon.
