Lichfield Round Table and Lichfield Ladies Circle are delighted to announce that their joint Children in Need street collection on Friday 14 November raised an impressive £1,250.38 for BBC Children in Need.
Pudsey Bear joined volunteers throughout the day at Three Spires Shopping Centre, Market Square and across Lichfield city centre, where members of the public braved the wet weather to donate, take photos, and support a fantastic cause. The warmth and generosity from residents helped create a brilliant atmosphere from morning through to early evening. Dan Simpson, Chairman of Lichfield Round Table said
This was the first year we’ve taken Pudsey across Lichfield, and the response has been incredible, we’re blown away by the kindness and enthusiasm shown by everyone who stopped to donate.

All funds raised will go directly to BBC Children in Need, helping organisations and projects across the UK provide vital services to disadvantaged young people. Lichfield Round Table (for men aged 18–45) and Lichfield Ladies Circle (for women aged 18–45) are volunteer-led community groups focused on fundraising, social connection, and supporting local causes.
