The local cutlers are celebrating International Afternoon Tea Day with a special discount.
Lichfield cutlery firm Arthur Price is celebrating International Afternoon Tea Day on Thursday 21 May by holding a special free weekend-long event. This will include free tea and – since, as Simon Price says, afternoon tea is “nothing” without it – homemade cake … plus, 40 per cent off stainless steel tea ware.
The event will take place from Thursday to Saturday (23 May), between 9am and 4pm, at the Arthur Price Factory Shop. There will also be a discount of 40 per cent off all stainless steel tableware available between 21 May and Saturday 6 June.
Factory Shop Manager Bev Shepherd said he is excited to launch the “amazing” sale on this day, because “everyone loves afternoon tea”.
Simon added that the 40 per cent discount covers “tea pots, milk and cream jugs, salvers, tea strainers … everything you need for the quintessential afternoon tea”.
