Every mile cycled will help St Giles Hospice continue to provide care for local people.
Time is running out for cyclists to secure their place in this year’s Cycle Autumn, with just days to go until hundreds of riders take to the roads in support of St Giles Hospice.
Taking place on Sunday 27 September, the popular fundraising event offers cyclists the chance to choose from 25, 50 or 100-mile routes through the beautiful Staffordshire countryside, all starting and finishing at St Giles Hospice in Whittington.
Every rider who takes part will help raise vital funds for St Giles Hospice, enabling the charity to continue providing specialist end of life care to local people, and their loved ones, living with a terminal illness.
Sam Colclough, Senior Events Officer at St Giles Hospice, described Cycle Autumn as “one of our favourite fundraising events of the year”, adding that “we’re looking forward to welcoming riders back for another fantastic day of cycling”.
Participants will benefit from fully supported routes, well-stocked feed stations on route, mechanical assistance, first aid cover, a finisher’s medal and food at the end of the ride.
Registration costs £35, with on the day sign-ups costing £40. Whether riding in memory of a loved one or taking on a new personal challenge, every mile cycled will help St Giles Hospice continue to provide care for local people, and their loved ones, living with a terminal illness.
