A special event at Blackbrook Barns brought together local professionals to celebrate and connect.
To mark International Women’s Day, Keelys Solicitors hosted a special event at Blackbrook Barns in partnership with their neighbours, Pool House Financial Advisors.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity to celebrate inspiring women, strengthen connections with clients and colleagues, and build new relationships within the local business community.
Inspiring Guest Speakers
Guests heard from two engaging speakers who shared their personal experiences and career journeys.
The first speaker was Judy Naake, founder of the iconic tanning brand St. Tropez. Judy spoke about building a globally recognised brand and the challenges and opportunities she encountered along the way. Her story of determination, entrepreneurship, and resilience resonated strongly with those in attendance.
The event also welcomed Rachel Roberts, a Consultant Forensic Psychologist working within a young offenders’ prison. Rachel offered a candid insight into her career path and the vital work she undertakes supporting young people within the justice system. Her reflections on such a complex environment were both thought-provoking and inspiring.
To round off the afternoon, guests enjoyed a taster sound‑bath session led by Kate Evans from The Coaching Retreat- a calming and restorative way to unwind after an engaging and inspiring event.
Supporting the Local Community
Alongside celebrating the occasion, the event also supported Spark, a local charity providing essential help and support to members of our community. Attendees contributed generously, with donations set to make a meaningful difference to the organisation’s ongoing work.
