This Lichfield Garrick Show is an Absolute Must-See!
The Lichfield Garrick Theatre is once again home to pure festive magic, and last night’s performance of the spectacular pantomime, Cinderella, proved why the annual panto is a cherished local tradition.
The show is, as always, a classic pantomime filled with fun and laughter that hits all the right notes for both young and old. Familiar Faces Steal the Show
It was fantastic to see the much-loved partnership of Sam Rabone and Ben Thornton back on the Lichfield stage, joined by other talented performers. The biggest highlight is the hilarious pairing of the Ugly Sisters: Sam (playing Aldianna) and Matt Daines (playing Lidleena).
Sam and his co-star, Matt, are monstrously good as the wicked sisters. Their chemistry and impeccable comedy timing are the heart and soul of the Garrick panto, guaranteeing the laugh count remains exceptionally high throughout the evening. Meanwhile, the return of comedy favourite Ben Thornton in another key role ensures the entire cast brings incredible energy, song, and dance to make this a truly magical evening.

Brilliant show- a Lichfield classic annual event that all Lichfeldians should know about. To prove this Yesterday I saw the two dames in full costume walking down Bakers Lane past Tesco and nobody turned a head or pointed to them because they are both part of ‘Normal’ city life. It’s wonderful to live here.
